A sister for Alice

We have just found out we are having DD2. DD1 is called Alice. It is a name I have always loved and was very set on the name in my first pregnancy. I know it gets mixed reactions here but it really suits DD1 and she loves it. She likes the wonderland connection and her room is decorated with prints etc from the book. I would love to find another girl’s name that also has a strong connection to a story and the possibility of nice prints, etc.
Names that could work but we can’t use as key family members already have the name are:
Matilda, Sophie and Clara.
Any ideas welcome, thanks

Sorry I went quiet on this and didn’t respond to say thank you to everyone for taking the time to respond and make lovely suggestions.
I am really not after a name to base a nursery theme around, it is a case of finding a girls name that I love as much as Alice and thinking about. another name from literature seemed like a good starting point!

@Evanna13 these are really nice ideas. The middle name will definitely have a family connection and DD1 has already asked for her name to feature a flower!

Thank you, lots of pretty names suggested. I had mentioned 3 names that we can’t use due to family members having them but I hadn’t written names already used by good friends. You all have good shared taste with my friends as lots of their children’s names have featured on this thread!

@VanillaAndOrange

If you were just looking for names that go well with Alice, I think my first thoughts would have been Lucy or Charlotte too, or maybe Florence or Louise.

Names with a good book or series of books associated with them - that's a bit harder. Maybe Katie (Katie Morag)? Polly? (Can you still get Clever Polly and the Stupid Wolf books?)

@VanillaAndOrange I loved Clever Polly and the wolf books when I was younger! My mum still has the whole set. I adore the name Polly but unfortunately it sounds horrendous with our surname.
