Middle names for August nn Auggie

The triplets are due October 12th we have the names ready Tobi Michael, Holly Marie and August but we’re struggling on a middle name for August. We liked David but August David is quite a mouthful to say.

Our surname is Oscar. Thanks in advance x

Because Oscar is often a first name and August isn't. Be aware that if the name is written down:
August Oscar, many will assume it has been written surname, first name and he will be forever correcting them that his first name is in fact August, not Oscar.

August Oscar is quite a mouthful, honestly. The double "Aww" isn't ideal,, imo. Middle names are rarely ever said aloud so don't matter all that much.

I would have thought it was a girls name until you put David as a middle name.

I agree that August Oscar is really difficult to say. I don't think a middle name will help that, because middle names aren't often said out loud.

As others have said, it’s a mouthful and it would bother me if I was an August born in October. I have an auntie June born in November and she’s spent her life hating it.

I thought August was going to be a girl.
Although its a longer name, I think Augustine works better with the surname and could still have same nn.
A middle name beginning with J could potentially give the nn AJ as well.

I think August is lovely for a boy :)

August is a great name. I prefer it of your triplets' names.

Middle names are never ever used. I don't even have one.

I like David August more than August David, and it’d be pretty weird to be an August born in October.

But if you’re 100% on August as a first name, I like the middle names James, William, Edward.

August James , I really like August but it is a bit out there compared with your other choices . Toby is better spelling than Tobi .

Love August! I’d go for something like Jack, Henry, Blake or Jude. And I’d spell it Toby, Tobi looks feminine.

Double initials are a cheesy af nickname. Jesse is a nice name, don't ruin it.

I would be so pissed off if my siblings were toby and holly and i got lumbered with August. It is bloody awful and i can only assume that hormones have caused you to take leave of your senses.
