Polly?

Thoughts on the name Polly? I was rather shocked to see it has never been that high on the UK charts. Highest position was 184! I like that it is not overly ‘out there’ but still surprisingly not that popular!

One of my favourite names. So much classier than Molly or Holly which are both overused.

I really like it. It seems an assertive name. I like Molly and Holly too but Polly seems stronger. Nice change from all the vowelly names.

I have a Polly she is ace, her name suits her. She certainly isn't wet or meek. She also loves her name and is the only one in her school.

It's enough for a bit of individuality without being over used

It’s cool. PJ Harvey etc. I know a couple of adults and both successful women in the arts if that helps?!

I love it! If I'd had another daughter then this would be top of the list, hence why I called my cat Polly instead.

I vaguely know a perfectly nice Polly, but the name sounds prissy and affected to me.
