Reasons for and against each spelling?
I probably prefer the latter but find myself saying it with a soft J which makes it sound like I'm putting on an accent Blush but I love both!

I think they have different pronunciations

Juliet = JOO-liet

Juliette = julie-ETTE

Exactly - so it depends which version you prefer.

Juliette.. I much prefer the way it looks and I’d pronounce it Juliette anyway.
