Sister for Mabel

We’ve recently found out we’re expecting another girl, but struggling with a name. There’s just none I love as much as I did with Mabel’s name. I want to keep the name a secret so stying to not discuss it with family/friends.

My husband and I quite like the name Rose or Rosa. Our surname is boys names, 1 syllable starting with G.

What do you think of the name Rose/ Rosa?!

I prefer Rosa to Rose but both are nice.

If you’re still looking I think Eadie or Iris would compliment Mable nicely.

I’m in your boat. Fell in love with Mabel.. now struggling to find one I like as much! DP would like a name that starts with M to keep the flow, something like Mabel and Maggie.. but I’m not sure on Maggie tbh.

Mabel goes naturally with Florence, Ella and Violet in my world, because those are the names of adjacent streets in my neighbourhood.
