Neil The Baby

Other than him, never come across one under 50 I don’t think!

My best friend at school was Neil. It is a fine name, reminds me of my lovely friend.

Awful... sorry

MrsFin · 10/08/2021 19:57

Nice name. Very popular back in the day.
I've also seen it spelled Neal, but I prefer Neil.

Lamont77 · 10/08/2021 19:57

I might be a big Gavin & Stacey fan BlushGrin but it's also a family name!

Potatoy · 10/08/2021 19:57

Nice. I dont like Neal.

mnahmnah · 10/08/2021 19:57

Not a bad name in itself, but very 70s/80s and names from that era still sound dated and aren’t ready to come back ‘into fashion’ as such, I think. Along with Gary, Dave, Lee etc

romdowa · 10/08/2021 19:58

I prefer niall.

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 10/08/2021 19:58

Yup, it'll forever be Neil. The Baby. 😁

Seanchailleach · 10/08/2021 21:47

Neil Young
A very sweet man that I know.
It's a classic name like Alexander or James - how could it go out of date?

saggybaps · 10/08/2021 22:02

I really like the name Neil. Good solid name.

Neil Armstrong
Neil Patrick Harris
Neil Jones

beccahamlet · 11/08/2021 04:37

It's a no from me.

Couldhavebeenme2 · 11/08/2021 06:53

Nope.

WeeFae · 11/08/2021 06:56

I'd always just think Neil, the baby.

Hadenoughofthisbullshit · 11/08/2021 07:01

He won’t be a baby his whole life though will he?
I wouldn’t but if you like it do it, it’s not exactly unusual. Maybe you’ll make a few people chuckle at baby group.

HoliHormonalTigerlilly · 11/08/2021 07:04

🤣

HoliHormonalTigerlilly · 11/08/2021 07:05

Nigel ?

WeeFae · 11/08/2021 07:06

@Hadenoughofthisbullshit

But Neil, the baby is still Neil, the baby 10 years later.
shallIswim · 11/08/2021 07:08

Aw I like it. Then you all ruined it by reminding me of Neil the Baby. I know a Neal who is in his' fifties and is a sweetie. I associate it as a Scottish name. is that right?
