Baby names with an "emblem"

Hi :)
I know there are probably rational arguments as to why this doesn't matter, but we are trying for another baby and I am really stuck with names. My current LO is called Daisy, and I LOVE that she has this cute little emblem associated with her name. We have decorated her frame with her first handprints with them, planted them in the garden, and I wear a necklace and earrings with a daisy on them too. She is quite old, so daisies have been a part of our life for quite a few years and so with having another one, I am really struggling with names which don't have any sort of obvious emblem associated with them as I worry that growing up they might be offended that I wear Daisy jewellery and we have them in the garden and on artwork etc (I even have shoes with daisies on them!) and there is nothing around the place with their name. I have no idea if any of this makes sense! But if anyone has managed to follow this far and can think of any cute girls names which have a sort of emblem associated (preferably not another flower but I am open to anything atm!), I would be super grateful! I did think of Penny but then my parents got a puppy a few weeks ago and called it Penny!

Or just choose and name you like and attribute an emblem to the child.

Kanaloa · 08/08/2021 19:45

Out of curiosity what would the emblem for India be? The Indian flag?

334bu · 08/08/2021 20:00

Or a tyre maybe.
Sorry whenever I see the name India , I always think of the Glasgo

"Man gets on bus, asks for a ticket to Partick.
"We're no gaun tae Partick", says the conductress (told you it was old).
"But it says Partick on the front", says the passenger.
"Aye, well, it says India on the tyres but we're no gaun there either"."

Apologies to anyone called India.Blush

Ember and fire

Havanalily1806 · 08/08/2021 23:46

I love the suggestion of Luna, half moons look lovely on jewellery etc

I also love Summer, with a sun as the emblem, think this will work well with daisies too

MobyDicksTinyCanoe · 08/08/2021 23:49

I know a little girl called Ember.

Means 'smouldering fire' which is an emblem I suppose.

I love it and have genuinely never met any other

DoucheCanoe · 09/08/2021 00:03

Tbh i'd suggest moving away from the Daisy obsession rather than deliberately trying to find something else. By the sounds of it this started off naturally but the next one will be "forced" for the sake of it so it hasn't got the same meaning.

Your child won't feel left out, I'd just think my Mum was batshit and leave her to it whilst feeling slightly smug that my whole being isn't defined by a logo.

Laureatus · 09/08/2021 08:28

How about Marguerite - it also means daisy, so you don't have to worry about using something different! 😊

Noshowwithoutpunch · 09/08/2021 08:34

Love the suggestions of Amber and Stella.
My favourite is Selene.

Quite like Robin for a boy.
I think it goes well with Daisy.
