Baby names with an "emblem"

Hi :)
I know there are probably rational arguments as to why this doesn't matter, but we are trying for another baby and I am really stuck with names. My current LO is called Daisy, and I LOVE that she has this cute little emblem associated with her name. We have decorated her frame with her first handprints with them, planted them in the garden, and I wear a necklace and earrings with a daisy on them too. She is quite old, so daisies have been a part of our life for quite a few years and so with having another one, I am really struggling with names which don't have any sort of obvious emblem associated with them as I worry that growing up they might be offended that I wear Daisy jewellery and we have them in the garden and on artwork etc (I even have shoes with daisies on them!) and there is nothing around the place with their name. I have no idea if any of this makes sense! But if anyone has managed to follow this far and can think of any cute girls names which have a sort of emblem associated (preferably not another flower but I am open to anything atm!), I would be super grateful! I did think of Penny but then my parents got a puppy a few weeks ago and called it Penny!

Stella could have a star emblem.

JedEye · 08/08/2021 14:11

Teddy

NuffSaidSam · 08/08/2021 14:12

I love Robyn for a girl and that would be lovely emblem wise.

Rowan is also a lovely name.

Bea (Beatrice) and a bee emblem.

AliasGrape · 08/08/2021 14:12

We have a flower name DD, it’s not why we chose it but I do also like this aspect of it too. I drink my tea in the morning out of a mug painted with ‘her’ flowers and it always makes me smile.

Robin/ Robyn
Holly
Rowan
Wren
Coral
Fern
Amber
Paloma (means dove)
Luna
Selene - goddess of the moon
Some kind of star name - Stella, Astrid, Estelle, Seren

I love the Beatrice/ Bee suggestion too.

Thatsnotmypolarbear · 08/08/2021 14:12

Fern is a beautiful name - botanical but not flowery.

Seren - means 'star' in Welsh

Luna / Phoebe / Selena - associated with the moon

Iris - a flower, but also the Greek goddess associated with rainbows

Birds - e.g. Wren / Robyn / Lark

Someting which can be shortened to 'Bee' e.g. Beatrix / Beatrice

When someone put Stella I thought, surely not but then realised the star link Grin

Op, do you have an emblem name if you have a boy, if not I like Fox.

Love the bee idea, Phoebe means moon so like that as well.

AmIEmptyOrNumB · 08/08/2021 15:14

Stella could have a star emblem

Or a pint glass?! Wink

Any gemstone names
Any cultural names (usually have a meaning)
Any virtuous names e.g. grace (lots of delicate stuff, or praying hands)

Alternatively you give any name but assign a nickname that has an emblem. E.g. your little petal, sweetheart, sweetpea, little rose bud, your shooting star for a boy etc

Katefoster · 08/08/2021 15:17

Melissa means honeybee 🐝

mistermagpie · 08/08/2021 15:38

My daughter is called Iris, obviously there's the flower but it also means rainbow so there's that as an option too?

I do think you're overthinking it a bit though!

BikeRunSki · 08/08/2021 15:40

Vanessa - Greek for butterfly
