Another "why are boys' names so hard?" list

But seriously, why are boys names so hard?

Expecting baby #2, a boy. I like classic "boring" names (William, George, Jack) and my partner likes slightly more unusual names.

Our chosen boys name in previous pregnancy was Arthur but we had a girl. I've since gone off it a bit because I'm worried its massive surge in popularity will mean it'll date badly and age him. I have a name that ages me, and it's annoying. So, here's our list. I don't really love any of them but I'm fine with that, I think a name grows to fit the child. That said, I am really fussy!

Owen
Jude
Felix
Patrick
Isaac
Louis
Arthur (still on the list)

Any more suggestions?!

My fave of your choices is Owen. It feels fairly classic to me, is nice and simple yet underused. Though the only one I dislike is Jude (too trendy for me), the others are okay - they just don't sound quite as nice as Owen imo.

If it helps, my fave underused "classics" are John, Hugh, Nathaniel, Owen, Robert and Philip (My fave popular ones are Alexander, Thomas, William, Michael, Edward, Samuel and James).
