1 month to go, we know it’s a girl and have a final shortlist but can’t narrow it down! Both English but Irish parents which is why there’s a couple of Irish names in there.

It's a reasonably well known (in UK) Irish name, JellyBabies. Pronounced Keeva

I have never heard of that one. Oh for a simple world where names were pronouned the same as the spelling

OP if you like the name Caoimhe then it might be an idea to call them Keeva.

@JellyBabiesFan are you that thick that you don’t realise that other languages exist apart from English??? Caoimhe is pronounced exactly as it is spelt in Irish.

Not all sounds are pronounced the same in different languages.

Nell stands out from the others by a mile. I love it.

I love Maeve and Nell although I’d give a full name and use Nell as nickname something like Penelope or Ellen.

Eliza is the only name I like.

I like Nell. Eliza is nice; Ayla should be nice but isn't.
Does 'Caoimhe' sound like 'Kiefer'? I like it but a girl with that name is described as stinking of piss in 'Derry Girls' which put me off it somewhat.
Maeve sounds like an elderly lady. Don't care for it.
Croia I quite like actually. I want to Uni with an American called Cree. I think it's pretty cool.
