If you had to change your name (not to anything silly like Profiterolina) what first name would you go for?

I have a highly unusual name which I love but if I had to change I'd be Juliet 😍

TortolaParadise · 16/06/2021 21:11

Paradise
Hyacinth
Cynthia
Star

LadyWithLapdog · 16/06/2021 21:11

Olympia

I saw two little girls on holiday years ago, Olympia and maybe Calypso or something like that. They were such cuties. I think Olympia would suit any age and I’ve liked it since.

WhenZoomWasJustAnIceLolly · 16/06/2021 21:12

Anna or Eleanor

GrandmasCat · 16/06/2021 21:13

I’m definitively a Fiona

Mum2jenny · 16/06/2021 21:13

Catherine Jane

VienneseWhirligig · 16/06/2021 21:17

Athena or Demetria. Something a bit longer than my one syllable (Jane type) name.

bigbaggyeyes · 16/06/2021 21:19

Kathryn, but I hate Kath so maybe not. My friends could call me Kate or Katie

Or maybe Elizabeth, I love Beth

I'd actually like a really short common surname like Jones or Smith.

Kate Smith 🤣

I use Anna at Starbucks sometimes because it's easy.

I used to have BF many years ago who thought my surname was Hamilton he said it suited me when he had no idea what my real surname was 🙄

So maybe Anna Hamilton.

bridgetreilly · 16/06/2021 21:27

I like my real name a lot but if I had to change, Bridget, obviously. Or maybe Priscilla. Or Winifred.

DalPalak · 16/06/2021 21:35

I love my name, but I've always had a fondness for Teresa. I use it whenever I need an alias -- it's much easier to spell and pronounce than my real name.

partyatthepalace · 16/06/2021 21:37

Skippy.

Or possibly Labamba

WithLoveFromMyselfToYourself · 16/06/2021 21:39

Anna

AriadnetheSpider · 16/06/2021 21:41

Oh my goodness my name is on here!! Can’t believe it, it’s pretty obscure but yet weirdly nondescript 😂

I love Renee spelled the French way (with an accent). Can’t understand why it isn’t more popular, it’s beautiful. Also very fond of Ruby, and Roxanne, which is a little more tricky to pull off but I bloody love it. Got a thing for R names!

topcat2014 · 16/06/2021 21:41

Brett or Guy are my cooler alter egos

EducatingArti · 16/06/2021 21:42

My parents nearly chose Simon which I only recently could out.

Think I would just be 'Si"

TheWashingMachine · 16/06/2021 21:49

I'd love to be Eve

PrimulaPrimrose · 16/06/2021 21:49

Profiterolina is far too frilly.
Profiterole is far nicer imo.

MissMoodyMoo · 16/06/2021 21:50

I use to tell guys when I was on a night out that I was called Penny 🤣 mainly because I didn't want them to find me on fb but oh wow penny was wild!! Totally different person from Me lol

ItWorriesMeThisKindofThing · 16/06/2021 21:53

I’d like my real name! My parents gave me a lovely name from their culture and then anglicised it as they thought that would be easier for me/everyone else - it’s still a nice classic name but at school I became known by a shortened version and have hated it for many years. I would love to reclaim my name but can’t see it happening at my age now!
