What do you think of Bambi for a girls name?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Come on, OP. People will associate it with the small, cute Disney creature. For a large child, or one with weight issues
there is a good chance school bullies (and even in adult life) will be relentless. I don't normally leap to 'don't use that name, there's a chance bullies will think that it sounds like 'arse' or whatever', but for Bambi, I think it'd be really unfair.

My friend has a Bambi.
It actually suits her well & is just her name to everyone now.
She is tall and slender with big brown eyes. But honestly we've known her for so long we don't even think about the deer 🤷🏽‍♀️

Etymology is apparently Arabic.
It could, at a large push, in Italian, be used as a diminutive of bambola (doll) though a) that's usually bambolina and b) why would you want to.
Your Italian grandparents have presumably told you it's really not a girls' name in Italy.

It's a cute nickname or pet name but not as a first name.
