Hi what are your thoughts on Marina?

We also like Connie and Lara but Marina is front runner. What do you think?

I like it - it makes me think if the brilliant Marina Hyde so naturally I have positive associations.

It's not awful, but it does inevitably make me think of the superannuated side piece in 'Last of the Summer Wine'.

It makes me think of my little pink octobuddy on Animal crossing!.....and boats...

I'm not a huge fan of Connie or Lara, so I'd go with Marina out of the three?

Lovely name. It was on my long list. I went with Lara in the end, and get lots of compliments, I'm sure Marina would too!

Like it best out of the 3 and I know 3 Marinas - all in their 50s and all lovely

As far as nns are concerned , the Marinas I have known have gone by their whole name.

It's a harbour for yachts. But I like the sound of the word.

Second thought was boats because a nearby town has a marina.

Marina is lovely. Also like Lara. Constance on birth certificate, which could be shortened to nn, rather than Connie.

I have a friend called Marina and she hates it (Mariiina... Aqua Mariiiina- Stingray) but she is older, 40s. Nice name for a little one.
