Just found out we are having a baby girl after two boys and I’m all into pretty girl names!! If you’d had a girl what would you have called her? Or what’s your favourite ever girl name?

My DD is Molly.

My dd is a Molly too

I’ve seen plenty of scorned posts about the name Molly. Apparently it’s a cutesy name and not a real name. It should be Margaret shorted to Molly

Ooo I love Violet, Ivy, Zoey and Kaylee too but it would have to be spelt Kaylee

I had 3 boys but if I had a girl tomorrow she'd be called Anna or Mairi (pronounced Mah-ri it's Scottish gaelic).

I have 2 girls, Grace and Maisie but if we had another I love the name Bonnie

If this baby was a girl she would have been called Ivy

These are my go-to girls names (hoping to get pregnant over the next few months). I also love the name Emerson, and it would definitely be my number one choice, but couldn't have it with my surname.

Interestingly, I think boys are easier to name than girls, just because I get caught up on girls names sounding both pleasing to the ear and strong - I don't think you can go wrong with classic boys names for that!

I have one of each. If my son had been a girl she would have been Margot but if we had another now she'd be Edie.

She'd have been Sylvia. Other contenders were Felicity, Catherine, Fiona, Delphine, Jemima, Heather and Sarah.

Leonie is a name I only heard quite recently but I love it. I also like Cindy and Clara.

On my list are ivy, Anastasia, , Blake, Christiana, Adeline, Pearl or alexia. I hope one day to have a girl and will pick out of them.
