If you’d had a girl/another girl, what name would you have used?

Just found out we are having a baby girl after two boys and I’m all into pretty girl names!! If you’d had a girl what would you have called her? Or what’s your favourite ever girl name?

I've recently grown fond of the name Belle - I just think its really pretty.

@Awwlookatmybabyspider

My DD is Molly.

If I had another girl I'd call her one of the following names.
Pull up a chair because it is a long list.😂😂😂
Briony. Elsa. Elise. Faye. Gracie. Nevaeh. Tansy. Courtney. Violet.
Keira. Saskia. Shannon. Abbie. Izabelle. Iris. Pearl. Kristen. Rosabelle.
Hannah. Hayley. Katie. Kayleigh. Azaria. Eden. Amity. Elizabeth
Liza. Mabel. Linda. Teresa. Jovie. Cassie. Callie. Michelle. Angel. Chloe.
Emily. Zara. Lucy. Bridget. Olive. Vanessa. Maud. Sybil. Nicole. Nerys.
Victoria. Cora. Cara. Kendall. Kenzie. C

My dd is a Molly too

I’ve seen plenty of scorned posts about the name Molly. Apparently it’s a cutesy name and not a real name. It should be Margaret shorted to Molly Hmm

Soubriquet · 31/05/2021 14:25

Ooo I love Violet, Ivy, Zoey and Kaylee too but it would have to be spelt Kaylee

flindorama · 31/05/2021 14:30

I had 3 boys but if I had a girl tomorrow she'd be called Anna or Mairi (pronounced Mah-ri it's Scottish gaelic).

GAW19 · 31/05/2021 14:31

I have 2 girls, Grace and Maisie but if we had another I love the name Bonnie Smile

WalkingMeAway · 31/05/2021 14:32

If this baby was a girl she would have been called Ivy

Rockhopper81 · 31/05/2021 14:32

Violet
Zara
Faye

These are my go-to girls names (hoping to get pregnant over the next few months). I also love the name Emerson, and it would definitely be my number one choice, but couldn't have it with my surname.

Interestingly, I think boys are easier to name than girls, just because I get caught up on girls names sounding both pleasing to the ear and strong - I don't think you can go wrong with classic boys names for that!

I have one of each. If my son had been a girl she would have been Margot but if we had another now she'd be Edie.

Synchrony · 31/05/2021 15:08

She'd have been Sylvia. Other contenders were Felicity, Catherine, Fiona, Delphine, Jemima, Heather and Sarah.

Treezan82 · 31/05/2021 15:08

Leonie is a name I only heard quite recently but I love it. I also like Cindy and Clara.

CharlotteRose90 · 31/05/2021 15:18

I was vetoed for all 4 when I had my last dd, I still love the name we chose, but those were the 4 that were absolutely no-go for DH.

Cecily, Nancy, Sylvia, Helena
