Yes or no?
As a full name, not a nickname for Beatrice or Patricia.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
YellowTwinklyStar · 21/04/2021 17:45

No, I'd go Beatrix on the BC.

Reminds me too much of twixes

Aliceandthemarchhare · 21/04/2021 17:45

I’m really sorry it’s a no from me!

WantingAnother · 21/04/2021 17:48

No sorry

JemimaTiggywinkle · 21/04/2021 17:54

It’s a drag queen or a poodle for me, but if you like it then why not.

Bananasforme · 21/04/2021 18:03

Dad's choice.

I sort of like the sound. But doesn't seem to have the best connotations...

I'm afraid it sounds flighty. I think I might have read a book where Trixie was a sort of teenage femme fatale but also very flighty.

chesirecat99 · 21/04/2021 18:08

Lovely as a nickname for Beatrix but not on its own.

Nightbear · 21/04/2021 18:10

’A drag queen or a poodle‘

Exactly

Nohomemadecandles · 21/04/2021 18:16

Great character in "Daisy Pulls It Off" !

I like the name. CTM revival of it!

KatyaZamolodchikova · 21/04/2021 18:35

Trixie Mattel is an actual Drag Queen, and is well known from Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

So yes, drag queen or poodle!

Regularsizedrudy · 21/04/2021 18:36

...as in Trixie Mattel?

TrustTheGeneGenie · 21/04/2021 18:36

I love it and it was in my top two girls names that I'll never get to use unless I get a dog

Bettalife · 21/04/2021 18:37

DD (age 10) is Beatrix and she has always absolutely hated it being shortened to Trixie.

LuluJakey1 · 21/04/2021 18:39

My aunt and uncle had a fat corgi called Trixie. Nice dog actually.

4amWitchingHour · 21/04/2021 18:48

Cute on a toddler, shit for a grown woman :/ it's too cutesy a name for an adult

Ellasmummyx1 · 21/04/2021 18:55

Really not good

CoalCraft · 21/04/2021 18:56

Not for me. DD is Beatrix and I live in fear of this becoming a nickname in school or something Grin

SavannahLands · 21/04/2021 19:05

Sorry but it reminds me of a Jack Russel Dog that I grew up with, and it got shortened further into Trix, or Dirty Trix if she had been and rolled into something really stinky!

Tangledtresses · 21/04/2021 19:16

Hmmm I wouldn't

DotDotDotDotDot · 21/04/2021 19:17

Sorry it’s a no from me. Agree it’s cute as a nn for Beatrix though. As a full name it seems bit silly.

DramaAlpaca · 21/04/2021 19:18

It's horrible, sorry.

Unless you happen to be a Yorkshire terrier. Then it's fine.

SnottyLottie · 21/04/2021 19:18

Reminds me of the cute girl dinosaur from Toy Story 3

joystir59 · 21/04/2021 19:22

My friend's adorable Bedlington terrier- perfect. Your daughter- nope

LadyOfTheRingsS · 21/04/2021 19:26

Like the drag queen Tricia Mattel?!

LadyOfTheRingsS · 21/04/2021 19:26
