The ‘book’ of Greek mythology?

I know the Greek myth connection but I assumed the poster was referring to Ready Player One where there is a character called Artemis although that’s not her real name, but probably am wrong!

girls:

• Flora - Scottish and/or upper MC / posh
• Tess - no strong impression
• Artemis - academic-y or boho

Boys:

• Guy - might be posh / no strong impression
• Hector - posh or academia
• Torsten - never heard of it, Scandi?

Like them all except Torsten. Tess is a bit meh

Guy = a bland and boring name given by parents who went ‘oh we’re having a boy, let’s just call him a word that means he’s a guy’

Sorry that’s literally all I’ve ever thought of that name. Well that and it reminds me of Guy Fawkes.

Freya = meek and quiet

Tess = the nicest name on your list but I’d probably go with Tessa (short for Theresa) myself as I knew a lovely, beautiful and clever girl at university called this.

Right, message received! The boys list, in particular, needs reconsideration! Other names I like but feel like I've heard a lot of/DH doesn't agree are:

• Jasper
• Rupert
• Rufus
• Xavier

So, do you have any ideas for me?!

Flora - plays the Skye Boat Song on her flute whilst wandering barefoot around lochs.

• Tess - plays rugby, studies politics and enjoys trolling people who say "all lives matter"

• Artemis - hides in shame in her room on account of her ridiculous name...

Boys:

• Guy- wears red trousers at Henley regatta and sniffs coke with his Eton chums, Hugo and Peregrine

• Hector- studying astrophysics, likes metal-detecting and medieval reenactment in his spare time.

• Torsten - 8ft tall Viking who pulls trucks in strongmen competitions.
