Clara is getting very popular, it was my Nans name too and she pronounced it Clare-a.
Riley is a boys name, there are 3 at dd's school.
Imogen is my favourite although not keen on Immy, Jen could be a nice diminutive.

Imogen, Alexandra and Clara are lovely. I have a feeling Clara is getting quite popular but not sure if it is statistically.

Riley and Libby have a very different feel to the rest of your choices. I would definitely veto Riley. Maybe Libby as a nickname for something else.

Xanthe - a bit out there.

Astrid - bit weird if no Scandi connections imo
Felicity - nice but I don’t like the nn Flick
Imogen - nice
Alexandra - bit dull
Libby - nice as a nickname for Elizabeth, not as a full name
Clara - love this
Riley - I think of this as a male name
Xanthe - too ‘overheard in Waitrose’

Yes @PattyPan HATE flick and that’s the only
thing that would put me off as I prefer nicknames to naturally stick rather than having them decided in advance but much prefer, Fliss, or fizzy for a young girl! Xx

I like them all apart from Libby and Riley (although Libby is fine as a nn for Elizabeth imo). Fave is probably Xanthe.

If popularity is a concern then I'd pick Imogen of those 3 as Imogen has been falling steadily in the charts for the past 10 years whereas Clara and Felicity have been rising - looking at graphs of the official ONS numbers for past 29 years

Except for Riley they are all lovely.

I've known a few Riley / Ryley over the years from working in various nurseries- it's never pleasant to have a Ryley/ Riley in your group. Very disruptive and generally naughty ( sorry)

My favourite is Imogen by far. The others are not to my taste. Libby is okay.

Never know a Felicity who went by Flick Known a Cici, a Fliss and a Flo.

I like Felicity, Alexandra and Clara. I’d do Libby as a diminutive of Elizabeth. Really not keen on Riley (it will always be a fish shack to me) but all the others are nice.

@JemimaJoy I know two who go by Flick - it’s quite common. I also know one who goes by Fliss. Never heard of one going by a nickname other than those but Cici is nice.
