Ella, Eden and .....

Hi

Already have two girls Ella Nicole and Eden Summer (both of which I absolutely love) but finding it so hard to find another girl's name!

Have a small list of 6 names, 5 of which start with E...! That is not intentional, just worked out that way. I did have one name that wasn't an E but husband has said no to that 😢

Current list is

Esme
(would want it pronounced Ez-may though, don't know if that would be an issue)

Ellexis
(newest to be added. Husband likes Lexi, I thought it would maybe be a compromise although would it just end up in her being called Lexi anyways)

Eliana

Everley

Eliza

Arielle

Does anybody have any other suggestions of names?

Thank you!

I love Esme and would pronounce it like you. I also love Eliza but I'm not sure about Ella and Eliza together. I'm not keen on Ellexis- I'd go with the easier Alexis if you want this name. I also like Arielle and I think it is ok to have two Es and one different letter.
I like Verity with your existing names - I like the rhythm of 2 syllables, 2 syllables, 3 syllables and I like that it has an 'eh' and an 'ee' sound so it ties the names together. Melody also works in the same way.

Stick with Esmé!

I was going to say esme with the same pronunciation as you suggest. Also like Eliza. Others I can think of are

Enid

Ella, Eden and Florence.
If it has to start with E, then I'd go with Eliza.

ladygindiva · 04/04/2021 22:55

Though tbh I don't like the way you spelled it I like Alexis, Lexi for short. It's lovely. Your other girls names are nice too.

Emmelina · 04/04/2021 22:58

Elodie?

GrouchyKiwi · 04/04/2021 22:59

I thought Esme when I read your title.

GigantosaurusRex · 04/04/2021 22:59

Emer. There was a consultant on '24 hours in A&E' called Emer and I loved it!

Eva, Eloise or Elena for names beginning with E

Otherwise, Anya, Anna, Rosa or Abigail (Abbie) ?
