[Meganoctavia]

So i’m expecting a girl in September, she’ll most likely have dark eyes and dark hair. I really love the name Raven, last name would be Octavia. Does Raven Octavia sound nice and any ideas for a middle name?

Raven is a very famous drag queen so that’s the first thing I think of. Not keen sorry OP. Octavia is a lovely surname so you’ve good material to work with there though.

I feel like a name should give a child different ways to be, and Raven is all about dark superhero, which is great if she's into that, but not if she's not.

What a fab surname!! However I feel Raven octavia together seems like a stage name, even though it wouldn't be she may forever spend her life being asked what her real name is and I'm sure that would wear very thin.

Oh well. I suppose I got the wrong idea bc my kids love raven the superhero. But actually name sounds cool apart from that.

I am not a fan. With a last name as beautiful as a Octavia, you’ve got so much of an asset to work with!
You could go full on Victorian, or mythological, or English rose. I feel like Raven is very X Men like and if she’s not into superheroes and science fiction, looks a bit weird.
Just my opinion though!

I probably wouldn’t go for Raven - bit too goth, if she doesn’t turn out like that. Ophelia is nice though.

....Sorry Octavia not Ophelia! Actually Octavia is even nicer (and less dark - I was thinking Raven Ophelia is pretty damn dark/tragic)

Personally I’d flip the names.

Ophelia is not a nice name. Raven and Octavia I do like though

Ooh it's very glamorous! I like it. I also like Regan which doesn't have the double v thing that you have with Raven Ocatvia.

Thank you, i like names that are quite unique though and names like Alice, Lucy and Zoe are very popular. I also like the double V, but i might have a look at some other first names.

I wouldn't worry about the middle name, check how RavenSurname.

Raven White, Raven Butcher etc aren't good.

You have a lovely surname but Raven is bloody awful.

I don't love the double v, it's a bit clunky. But I totally love the name Raven.
