Cariad, which is Welsh for love

I met a little girl that was called Love! I thought it was really sweet.

I think Hiba / Heba mean love in Arabic. Might be wrong though.

Davina/ David both mean beloved.

Cara/Kara means beloved.

Caritas. I desperately want to used this name if we have a daughter. It's Latin.

I loved Megumi for our DD, but we have a M surname and the alliteration didn't work. It means Blessed.

Minne (pronounced Minna) in German it's the word for courtly love like knights/princesses type of thing.

I thought Mary meant bitter?

Cerys / Carys. Both wonderful names that mean beloved

Mara is bitter, but not the same name as Mary.

OP, what about Loveday? It may not actually mean Love, but it literally says Love.

Annabel means loving/loveable.

I love the name Loveday.

Imogen means Beloved Child 😍

@Cornishmumofone I was going to suggest Kerenza. It's my daughter's middle name. I think it's beautiful.

Cara doesn't mean dear (at least spelled like that) it's an Irish name that means friend.

Cara/Kara has different meanings depending on the country. No matter what the meaning, it’s a beautiful name.
