Mira, Maya, Aria and why? Please vote!

Our final three, based on important family names, please help!

Erm.

Is it my-ruh or meer-a?

May-uh or my-uh

Arr-ree-uh or uh-rye-uh

Aria. It's just such a lovely sound.

Mira is the name of my dad's shower. The make rather than a pet name. Maya is best though inevitably there will be pronunciation differences. I would say My-a rather than May-a.

I also have a Mira shower!
I prefer Maya to Aria which just reminds me of operas (and I hate opera!)

Maya, but I’d default to Maya not Mya pronounciation until you corrected me. Just something to bear in mind as others may do the same which could get annoying.

I like Aria best.

Maya - although very popular, it has a long feeling of "history" and is well used internationally so would be my choice of the 3.

Aria - pretty but sadly feels very trendy because of it's rapid rise in use (probably thanks to namesakes on TV).

Mira - nothing wrong with it, but I've never been keen on the sound (strangely I love the similar Mina!)

Maya is my favourite.

Mira is the name of a shower, also sounds like a contraceptive.

Not keen on any. Mira pron Meera is ok but makes me think of Meerkat.

Aria is the nicest. On my list of names I like if we ever have a DD3 but I fear it’s too similar to DD2’s name.

I love Maya and Aria but they have both become so, so common especially in my culture, particularly Aria.

I've never seen Mira spelt that way, it's usually Meera. I don't mind it but it's a bit meh.

They're all nice but I just love Maya the best, it's beautiful.

People might mispronounce Mira as Myra (as in Myra hindley)

Aria is far too popular recently and Mira reminds me of the shower.

All are nice names. My vote would go to Mira, mostly because I know a lovely little girl named Mirabelle who often goes by Mira & it's a lovely name that I hear very little around me.

Maya.
It has a strong meaning, it's a name in many cultures but has beautiful and multiple meanings.
Plus, I chose it for my daughter 💕

I like Maya as May-ah, but think My-ah is harsh, but would probably avoid because of the different pronunciations. Mira is just too slight.

Maya will get pronounced wrong, so I'd go with Mya/Myah

Aria... nice sound, easy to pronounce, but is popular so might bump into a few!

I'd personally go with Aria (prefer it spelt Arya) out of these 3, as the constant mispronunciation of Maya would annoy me, and I don't like Mira as it is a shower/bathroom brand. If you changed the spelling of Maya to Mya, that would be my favourite.

Mira also means 'look' in Spanish

Mira will cause pronunciation confusion. Aria is very "now" and will sound dated at some point.
