Mira, Maya, Aria and why? Please vote!

Our final three, based on important family names, please help!

I have a Maia same pronunciation My-uh but we spelt it that way to try and avoid It being pronounced Maya. But she just gets called Mia instead or sometimes Maria!!

Well I like Aria anyway, though prefer Arya.

Mira is Meera would worry people would pronounce it My-,rah as in Hindley. What about Meera?

Maya is Myuh - I think you'll struggle with people pronouncing it May-a because of the a so I'd go Mia or Miya

Aria is very "trendy" at the moment. It would be nice if it wasn't but it is, so has been cheapened.

Maya also very popular but as a PP said, seems to have a stronger history and background so seems maybe classier, more established, less faddy than Aria.

Mira is fine. Can't get too excited by it but also can't say anything bad.

Will add, I did think about the Myra pronounciation which obviously makes people think of the one well known Myra - Hindley, of course, a horrible, horrible association.

I'd choose Maya for sure.

I am a teacher. I once had 3 'Mya/Mia/Maya's in one class. All had different pronunciations, but not how they were spelled. All got very pissed if I got one wrong. So too popular IMO.
Aria is nice.

I'm biased as I have a Maya. I still love her name. Pronounced May-a never been a problem.

Mira (Meera) is absolutely lovely! Would definitely go for that.

Maya and Aria are a bit blah now, which is a shame. They went a bit zeitgeisty a while ago which sometimes ruins names for me a bit, until they come back around again of course!

I would go for Mira (or Meera to avoid the Myra pronunciation/shower connotations). I like Maya too.
