They're all quite different in style! I'd say my favourite is Lucie - also like Lucy / Luci / Lucia. Lucy variants are pretty, timeless, and have a lovely meaning - easy to wear from toddler to old lady!

I like Elizabeth too, it's also a timeless one, with tons of nicknames! Love Lilibet (which I think the Queen gets!) and also Eliza, which I'd think about as a name in its own right too.

Autumn is nice enough but not really my taste - makes me think of Autumn Phillips.

Don't love Marcella, but it's not an awful name. Prefer Marcia?

Elizabeth is a timeless classic, very lovable

Lucie is nice but a bit little girly for me - prefer Lucienne or Lucia (the European Loo-CHI-a pronunciation, not the US LOO-sha.)

Marcella I think is fine, quite elegant, but not especially distinguished.

Autumn is just a bit too fad name for me, no history so very undistinguished.

I'm probably old fashioned, but I don't think seasons names are personal names. Why would you? Winter means 'the cold months', summer means 'the hot months'. They are about time and weather. Quite seriously, why use them for a child?

Elizabeth, Lucie (prefer Lucy) and Marcella are all nice names.

I sympathise with your gripe. I guess it comes down to personal preference doesn't it. I feel similarly about names like Grace and Faith but I have a fondness for Autumn. 🤷🏼‍♀️

All very different.. Elizabeth and Lucie are the nicest but with the spelling Lucy x

I like Lucy best. Not Lucie, that spelling is a bit twee.

Elizabeth is great, such a versatile classic.

Marcella makes me think of a glamorous elderly lady.

I'm with @florascotia2 on season names, I'm not at all keen on them.

I really love Elizabeth and it would be great to hear of a baby Marcella too. I prefer Lucie spelt Lucy, but that is a lovely name too. I like Autumn but think it's likely to date as it seems to be having a bit of a moment.

I am never sure how to pronounce Marcella.

The names are very different.

Marcella - too closely linked to a TV show
Lucie - Lucy is the best spelling. Lucie will be written as Lucy.
Elizabeth - lovely and a classic
Autumn - bit naff if born in December - September. Not great anyway.

Elizabeth is lovely: a lot of great namesakes, the most timeless girls name in the UK so it never dates, dozens of nn's/variations so she can make the name suit her personality - for me there is really no contest compared to your other choices. Autumn is seems a bit trendy, Lucie will get misspelt (and is a bit cute imo), and Marcella very unusual and has a slightly hard sound to me (and will get mispronounced).

I like Autumn and Lucy best. Marcella is also nice in a quirky way. I'm not so keen on Elizabeth, I find it a bit stuffy compared to the others.

I like Lucy best, then Autumn, but I'd only personally use it if born in the Autumn.

Strangely I'd use Dawn no matter what time of day the baby arrived though.

I really love the name Autumn, the others are OK.

I like Lucie.
Elizabeth is my middle name and I really don’t like it, think it sounds dull.
Marcella- not keen but that maybe because I went to school with one who was a miserable cow.
Autumn is v pretty.

Marcella - lovely name

Lucy - I like it but would not spell as Lucie.. just feels like you’re trying to make a point of being different with the spelling.

Elizabeth- nice, timeless, not used very often as a first name these days. It depends on whether you like Liz/Lizzy as these are probably the most likely nicknames, unless you consciously choose a different one. (Betty?)

Autumn - it’s not for me personally but would make a nice middle name

Elizabeth Lucy (or Lucie) is a fabulous name.
