I would be surprised if it were Oliver given Oliver Cromwell had Charles the first beheaded. Maybe enough time has passed though!

Eugenie won't be restrained like Kate and William were but I think she will go reasonably traditional, I think names like Arthur, David, Nicholas, Hugh, Thomas, Frederick are good shouts. I think Philip is likely to be in there as a middle name but a good first name option too - it's a classic name which isn't particularly popular at the moment and it honours the DoE.

I don't think they will go as modern as Arlo for example but a name like Oscar might work.

LittleGwyneth · 10/02/2021 12:36

Frederick Phillip - FP.

Purplesparkle34 · 10/02/2021 13:10

I think it will be Phillip

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 10/02/2021 14:25

@RosesAndHellebores

Nicholas doesn't scan very well with Brooksbank.
Sure it does! A dactyl followed by a spondee. Dum-di-di dum-dum.
viques · 10/02/2021 15:20

@Longdistance

Jack junior.
Or JJ. Or even JayJay.

go on Eugenie, I dare you. In fact I double dare you.

MerryChristmasToYou · 10/02/2021 15:50

Kit.

VanillaAndOrange · 10/02/2021 17:43

I think there could be a James in there somewhere - the sisters are said to be close to Edward's lot, and it's fashionable but also kind of timeless.

Mumsnut · 11/02/2021 00:35

She’s reading this for inspiration right now, I reckon

Or is she the OP? HmmGrin
Longdistance · 11/02/2021 01:35

She could break the mould. Jack junior isn’t getting a title anyway. So he could become Prince Consuelo Banana Hammock.

ozymandiusking · 11/02/2021 01:44

Ryan, Spencer. No, I think James would be quite nice.

Smallonesaremorejuicy · 11/02/2021 01:58

I have been thinking Frederick , maybe Alexander or Hugo .

veeeeh · 11/02/2021 02:05

Cannot even remember what the last child in the Royal line was called.

Anyway whatever the name I hope and am sure they won't care about what we think anyway.

I think Archie might be the most recent?
SorbusAucuparia · 11/02/2021 09:18

Frederick Arthur Philipp.

Those initials aren't great, though.

StealthPolarBear · 11/02/2021 09:19

I assume there's still nor been an announcement?

Spied · 11/02/2021 09:26

Robert

midsomermurderess · 11/02/2021 10:26

Always with the bloody 'Balonz'. Was it ever funny?

EmbarrassingMama · 11/02/2021 14:51

Bradley is a vile name. I do hope not.

MacavityTheDentistsCat · 11/02/2021 14:57

Robert (as per Spied's suggestion above)

Robert Brooksbank reads very nicely. (Or will he have a different surname? (I confess to not having RTFT Blush))

Mumsnut · 11/02/2021 15:26

Actually, I’m calling ‘John’ for poor little Prince John.

Missingthesea · 11/02/2021 15:34

John. Nothing to do with little Prince John though. Goes very well with Brooksbank.

WaxOnFeckOff · 11/02/2021 15:36

Jack may already be a John/Jonathan? So might be a Junior/the 2nd?

Albert Philip (Bertie for short)

AmIBeingTwatty · 11/02/2021 15:55

@Chickydoo Bertie Brooksbank is hopefully too twee for the royals! 😂😂😂
