What colour of hair is this

Does it matter?it's a baby..their hair colour will change rapidly anyway

It doesn't look either and I really wouldn't worry because

A. There are so many more important things than hair colour
B. Whatever colour it is it's unlikely to stay that way

I hope you're not fearing a child with ginger hair that would be sad.

I see neither, just blonde.

Why do you care?

The crown looks dark blonde/light brown so far...it's hard to tell when they have so little hair. Both of mine kept us guessing for a colour until their hair came through better.

Looks like brown hair with cradle cap to me.

As PP have said, my friend's baby was born with almost jet black hair, by the time she turned 2 it was the most gorgeous sunkissed light brown! And 9 out of 10 blond babies hair darkens by the time they turn 9 or 10.

Reddish blonde

I see cradle cap, which can give an orange tinge. Hair just looks brown - but every chance it will fall out with the cradle cap, and baby hair often changes colour.

Agree, looks like light brown with cradle cap.

My redheaded children had obviously red hair from birth, much tedder than that, so I say no not ginger.

Looks like they will be blonde but hard to say for sure.

One of my babies was white blonde, now almost brown aged 5.

The other was born brown and now lovely golden ringlets at 3.

Things change! I would die for red hair like my aunt, personally.

Trouble is, a baby's hair at this stage gives no prediction of what they'll grow up to have.
My nephew looked a lot more ginger than his sister, but that was cradle cap and he's now md-brown while she's got the red hair.

Apparently I had thick black hair when I was born; sadly, it's now fine mouse (well, it's naturally mouse...).

What do the people who've seen you DC think? It's something that's easier to see irl, I think.

Brown.

My two were both born with black hair. Then by the age of 2 it had changed to light blonde. By the time they reached their teens it had changed to mid brown.

This isn’t true at all, strawberry blonde is a different colour to ginger, which is a beautiful colour in its own right

I’d say light brown too. It’s not blonde or ginger.

My daughter who has ginger hair was quite similar to that as a baby. You could really tell in the light but indoors it looked more browny. Her eyebrows are fair, kind of non existent, but she’s most definitely red. My other is a browny auburn and it was her eyebrows that confirmed it, if that makes sense. In both cases it was a long while before it was clear what their hair they would have.

I think it looks light ginger, it's very pretty! I don't think it looks brown, my friends baby was this colour and now she is one and she had dark red hair , it's beautiful.

It looks brown to me. Both my daughters were born with a fine head of light brown hair which turned to blonde by the time they were about 6 months.
