Name to go with Hudson

What names do you think go with Hudson, as a brothers name? It took us forever to find a boys name we loved for DS, who is called Hudson. There were literally no back up names, it was that or nothing! So I’m thinking, if we have another boy, how am I going to suddenly find another name I like when I’ve already spent 9 months dismissing them all bar one!

You should probably go with another surname style name - one of my brothers has a surname style name and none of the rest of us do and he has always been really miffed about that - especially as our surname is possible to use as a first name so he is still forever having people get his name the wrong way round. So how about Parker, Bailey, Seymour?

@viques haha good one XD

When I was picking his middle name I did think of River and I was like, why does that sound so good together, Hudson River? Then I realised 😂 duh!

@Twelve8Ts I love Miller but it sounds wrong with our surname sadly. I love Clark and Ford as well!

@shiningcuckoo Logan is a cool name but Hudson and Logan... don’t like how they sound the same at the end!

River was my first thought, too.
How about Hall, or Howarth?

Harmarsuperstar · 29/01/2021 12:41

Hawk?

bleachblondemom · 29/01/2021 12:41

@Santaiscovidfree so many people suggested that to me when i was trying to think of a name for DS, I really don’t like it though!

I really like Blake but I’m worried it could sound chavvy depending on the kind of person this future child grows up to be XD

Grayson (maybe too similar?)
Jack
Charlie
Jude is nice.

bleachblondemom · 29/01/2021 12:45

@Daisy829 yeah I considered Jude for DS but I don’t know how keen I actually am on it. DH hates Charlie even though I think it’s cute. Jack is a good solid name but I feel like I could come up with something a bit more exciting.

Hudson and Blake have a similar feel about them, so if you think Blake is potentially 'chavvy'...
