I hate picking a name😂

Winnie would be her usual name but would put Winifred on the BC.

I quite like Winifred, but hate Winnie.

imagine being a teenage girl and being called winifred

ParisJeTAime · 21/01/2021 12:05

I love it! But think it will be a marmite name

Kokeshi123 · 21/01/2021 12:05

It's utterly dreadful. It makes me think of someone wrinkling up their nose when they smell something bad.

I like it
It was my granny's name .
Could be Winnie or Freddy if you like nick names

Winifred is most definitely coming back, and Winnie is as nice for a teen as a toddler. I like it like I like Edith. It’s cottagecore but also a bit of anglo-Saxon too.

I like the meaning - "friend of peace" - but I don't really like it as a collection of sounds, sorry. There were Winifreds on both sides of my family, and believe it or not my parents discussed using it as one of my names, but I'm glad they didn't. If you like Winnie, could you use a name that ends with -win/-wyn?

KirstenBlest · 24/01/2021 15:31

Winnie is nice. Winifred is ok, but you could also consider Winona or Guinevere. Winsome might be a bit too much to live up to and Winstonia too try-hard.

Very sorry but find it awful
