I'm finding it so hard to settle on a girl's name - there are so many lovely ones out there. Sorted if a boy.

Which of these stand out to you (if any!) as the nicest? Thanks!

Esme
Grace
Eva
Leah
Erin
Sylvie
Ayda
Juliette
Jasmine

Grace
Eva
Sylvie

are all beautiful to me.

Firebird83 · 14/01/2021 21:15

Sylvie or Juliette. I like Ada spelled this way but not Ayda.

greendress789 · 14/01/2021 21:15

Erin
Juliette

TopBants · 14/01/2021 21:17

Erin is my favourite.

TempsPerdu · 14/01/2021 21:17

Sylvie or Juliet (but I only like it spelt this way - Juliette looks too frilly to me).

WinterBabyof89 · 14/01/2021 21:18

I love Grace (one of my girl options)
Ada (but not Ayda as PP said)
Eva

All lovely choices though

MidnightHangingTree · 14/01/2021 21:19

I love Sylvie from that list.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 14/01/2021 21:21

Grace is my favourite, unfortunately it didn't go with our last name.

Ayda is unusual, is it pronounced like Ada?

Out of your list I also like Juliette, add was very nearly called Juliet and DS would have been Jasmine if he was a girl.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 14/01/2021 21:22

*DD not add Blush

Pudding01 · 14/01/2021 21:31

Erin and Juliet

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 14/01/2021 21:53

I love Juliet - it's beautiful, classic, elegant and underused (but Juliette spelt this way looks too frilly imo, unless you live in a French speaking country).

Sylvie would be my 2nd choice - it has a lovely sound and a nice meaning (although it is very gradually getting more popular).

Eva is my 3rd choice - simple, international and classic. It's only spoilt by that fact that very similar names Evie, Evelyn and Ava are so popular, so it could sound a bit samey?

AcrobaticCardigan · 14/01/2021 21:54

Sylvie, Eva, Erin, Grace.
