Jacob or Hollie.

Not Hallie, Hollie.

CoffeeRunner · 29/12/2020 19:30

Just to add, Tillie & Lottie are also fine but I would go with Matilda or Charlotte as their “proper” names. Just so that they have options if they grow up not to suit a cutesy cute name.

crabette · 29/12/2020 19:32

I like Jacob from your boys list.

For girls, I like Amelie from your list... or what about Sylvie, or Dulcie?

SE13Mummy · 29/12/2020 19:33

Jacob or Toby for the boys.
I'm not a fan of girls having to have 'cutesy' endings for their names so would say none of your existing list but Charlotte if you were going to formalise Lottie.

ZoCho · 29/12/2020 19:41

I love Marnie!

Peachbubble · 29/12/2020 19:43

I like Toby and Lottie. How about Callie, Hattie, Nellie for girls?

CinnamonTeaForMe · 29/12/2020 19:51

I'd definitely choose Jacob for a boy. Not too sure on the girls list- maybe Amelie.

NannyR · 29/12/2020 19:54

Jacob and Charlotte (to be known as Lottie).

finallychangedmyusername · 29/12/2020 19:54

I adore Jacob and like Toby and Connor.

From your girls list I'd pick Marnie or Lottie (although I much prefer Lottie as a nickname for Charlotte).

ILoveShula · 29/12/2020 19:55

Harvey
Casey
Jacob
Brodie
Riley
Conor
Toby
Chayse

Marnie
Hallie
Lottie
Tillie
Amelie
Hattie

Jacob. I like the name Conor, which is how it is spelled in Ireland, but don’t care for it with two ns. Chayse is beyond awful.

Your girls’ names are too cutesy for me. To many ‘ie’ endings.

Shutupyoutart · 29/12/2020 19:59

Jacob, connor and riley out of the boys. Girls i like them all except marnie. How about charlie for a girl or hollie?

finallychangedmyusername · 29/12/2020 20:01

I meant to add, these are my favourite girl names ending in ie.

Sophie
Sylvie
Elodie
Natalie
Rosalie
Coralie

These I prefer as nicknames personally but wouldn't mind as a "full" name
Annie (Anna, Annabel)
Callie (Calliope, Calista)
Carrie (Caroline, Carolyn)
Cassie (Cassandra, Cassia)

Yennefer19 · 29/12/2020 20:03

For boys I like Jacob and Connor.

Girls I like Tillie or Lottie.

Other suggestions for girls names could be:
Mollie
Rosie
Carrie
Edie
Kerrie
Leonie
Mackenzie

DramaAlpaca · 29/12/2020 20:07

Jacob and Conor (that spelling only) for boys. Don't like the rest, especially Chayse.

I quite like Marnie but don't like the rest. Names ending in '-ie' are generally too twee for my taste.

JustanotherTuesday · 29/12/2020 20:08

I like Brody or have you thought of Brady ?
For girls I like Tillie and Amelie best.

june2007 · 29/12/2020 20:09

Charlotte or Mathilda, then shorten if you/child wants.

formerbabe · 29/12/2020 20:09

Jacob and Amelie

PenguinBarnotBird · 29/12/2020 20:17

Jacob or Connor only from your boys list

Only Marnie from your girls list

Other ‘ie’ ending girls names I can think of:
Sylvie
Stephanie
Annie
Millie
Lizzie

FluffyEggsontoast · 29/12/2020 20:25

Love Jacob, Toby and Marnie the most

Standrewsschool · 29/12/2020 20:25

Love all boys names except Chase.

Love Marnie.

Other names:
Sadie
Dulcie
Billie
Susie

Rufus
Todd
Milo
Ethan
Callum

Firebird83 · 29/12/2020 21:15

Jacob and Lottie

beautifulclouds · 29/12/2020 21:34

Jacob
Amelie

DumpsterBagel · 29/12/2020 21:37

From your list, Toby and Marnie are my favourites.

daisypond · 29/12/2020 21:39

Harvey, Conor, Toby or Jacob for boys.
None of the girls’ names.
