Guessing game V!

Merry twixmas! Xmas Grin

We have reached thread 5(!) of the baby names Guessing Game.

This was the (brilliant) brain child of @scotstar back in March 2018. Smile

All are welcome, rules of this game are pretty straightforward - someone describes a name. Whoever solves the clues is then in charge of describing the next name. Simple! Make the clues as fiendish or straightforward as you like. Grin

The other nickname she may go by (aside from Annie) is a princely one bestowed to a lot of boys in the past decade.

Angharad?

finallychangedmyusername · 28/03/2021 09:56

Yes @Ladywillpower!

Angharad - Welsh name from Arthurian legend meaning "much loved".

Could go by a nickname of Harri/Harry (sorcery - Harry Potter; princely / royalty - Prince Harry; bestowed to a lot of boys in the last decade - Harry remains a consistently top ten baby name in the UK).

Or nickname of Annie (Annie Lennox sang the "questioning" hit, 'Why?' / Annie Mac is the dance music DJ).

Over to you!

Happy Easter weekend! @Ladywillpower will you be able to do another clue?Smile

Ladywillpower · 06/04/2021 06:57

My name is more common across the pond.
I may be a television presenter or a fictional doctor.

LadyGAgain · 06/04/2021 22:04

Ellen

LadyGAgain · 06/04/2021 22:05

Or Meredith

Ladywillpower · 07/04/2021 02:14

Not Ellen or Meredith but I am female.

finallychangedmyusername · 07/04/2021 22:11

Addison?

OP posts:
Ellmau · 07/04/2021 22:25

Quinn?

LadyGAgain · 15/04/2021 06:34

Was it Quinn @finallychangedmyusername ?

LadyGAgain · 15/04/2021 06:34

Sorry @Ladywillpower !

finallychangedmyusername · 15/04/2021 18:30

If not, can we please have another clue? Smile

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 23/04/2021 21:00

Truly hoping that @Ladywillpower is safe and well.
While we await her return, would anyone like to offer a new clue?

finallychangedmyusername · 23/04/2021 22:15

Agreed @LadyGAgain, hoping @Ladywillpower is well. 😊

If you've got a new clue please go for it @LadyGAgain!

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 23/04/2021 23:17

I haven't! Have you?! I can produce one shortly!

finallychangedmyusername · 24/04/2021 09:45

How about this one? I'm currently "name crushing" on this name. Grin

This bright, ancient name is almost an island, but you may groan if you nickname him.

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 24/04/2021 22:47

Oooh I shall attempt to think!! 👏🏽👏🏽

finallychangedmyusername · 27/04/2021 17:18

It's a Mediterranean island. Smile

OP posts:
Ellmau · 27/04/2021 18:40

Cyprian?

finallychangedmyusername · 27/04/2021 21:03

The island could definitely be described as being Cyprian, yes!

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 27/04/2021 23:15

So I immediately thought Capri and then Naxos and I can't make either of them work so I'm back to thinking again 😂

LadyGAgain · 27/04/2021 23:17

Cyprus?!

LadyGAgain · 27/04/2021 23:17

A groan is a sigh? Cyprus

LadyGAgain · 27/04/2021 23:18

And if that's correct I respectfully hand the baton to @Ellmau GrinGrin
