Our little girl is due any day now and we have our shortlist but we can't decide on our favourite. We have decided to wait to see what she is like when she arrives but wanted some opinions on our list.

Natasha
Louisa
Piper
Trixie
Molly
Jade
Alice
Jessica

I love Alice and Piper.

Sixtonskip · 15/12/2020 14:59

Alice or Jessica, maybe Louisa at a push. Don't like the others I'm afraid.

Angel2702 · 15/12/2020 15:00

I like Alice

Carrotcakey · 15/12/2020 15:01

Jessica or Louisa
Alice is ok, not a big fan of the others.

Jwd8 · 15/12/2020 15:04

Piper, Alice and Jessica

ElfMadeSantaList · 15/12/2020 15:09

Louisa
Alice
Natasha

Trixie is far too cutesy - how about Beatrix as the full name?
Piper will date rapidly I think.

Gemma888 · 15/12/2020 15:15

Alice all the way :)

momtoboys · 15/12/2020 15:16

Alice and Piper

I like Molly, Natasha and Jessica. Molly is on my shortlist if I ever have a girl! Pretty but suits all ages imo. I do like Piper too. My least favourite is Alice - very popular right now and I think really bland, especially compared to your other choices.

UnshakenNeedsStirring · 15/12/2020 15:30

Piper

EileenGC · 15/12/2020 15:43

I love Alice.

Jessica and Louisa are very nice too. Have you considered Louise? It's one of my favourite names!

Whatsyourflava · 15/12/2020 15:46

Natasha - ok
Louisa - ok
Piper - awful
Trixie - really really awful unless nn for Beatrix etc
Molly - love it
Jade - ok
Alice - love it
Jessica - love it

There are very different style names on that list! Louisa, Alice and Jessica (in that order) are more classic/traditional and are my favourites of your choices. Natasha is much quirkier but is nice too. Molly and especially Trixie are too nickname for me (for Mary and Beatrice) and sound a bit insubstantial as given names imo. Piper and Jade are very modern/trendy sounding and not my taste.

Cattenberg · 15/12/2020 21:37

I like Alice and Natasha best.

Alice is a lovely, classic name. It’s very popular at the moment, which could be seen as a positive or a negative.

Natasha is a great name too, and relatively rare these days.

diddlediddle · 15/12/2020 21:38

Jessica and Alice

Firebird83 · 16/12/2020 00:43

Louisa is lovely. Classic and underused.

DramaAlpaca · 16/12/2020 00:47

That's quite a mix of styles.

Piper and Trixie are awful.

Molly is sweet, but a bit on the twee side.

Jade and Natasha I would say are very 90s names so quite dated.

The rest are lovely classics, of which Louisa is my favourite.

lakesideadvent · 16/12/2020 00:48

Alice or Louisa.

MercyBodle · 16/12/2020 02:26

I like best:
Alice
Jessica
Louisa
Molly
Piper

Natasha is okay but a bit dated.
Trixie I only like as a nickname.
I dislike Jade.

Sandcastles09 · 16/12/2020 02:29

Molly, Jessica and Natasha are nice names.

I don't like the names Jade & Trixie
