I think people may call it "brave" because of the song maybe? But it definitely wouldn't put me off.. it's fab!

I like a lot of very unmumsnetty names for girls but they come from the girls whose names i was jealous of when I was a little girl! (i was born in the mid 80s)

One of my distant ancestors was a Clementina! And there was an Adelaide too. They seem like very exotic names compared to their backgrounds and circumstances! Very interesting.

I'd call her Claudia (underused because of the meaning, but hopefully most people wouldn't know/care about that)

Guinevere or Cassiopeia if I was brave (but I guess Cassia could be a useable compromise).

I think Luminita is a lovely name - guess that's my 'brave' one.

Bearing in mind that I am very much English, with only some distant Welsh roots, I'm not sure how many of my names I could get away with (given I already have one dd named Erin), but top (if brave) would be Nerys or Eira. Niamh/Nieve also on the list.
