What would you call her?

Also, is the name your ‘if I was brave enough’ name? If not please tell me them both Grin

I’m hoping to find inspiration because we’ve come up with 3 names and none feel ‘right’.

Thank you Xmas Smile

Ariadne or Martha

SilverOtter · 14/12/2020 23:09

Lavinia after my beloved grandmother

blitzen · 14/12/2020 23:22

@Sauvignonblanket yay! That's amazing 🙌

Crankley · 14/12/2020 23:38

I like Charlotte and Alexandria.

africanantelope · 15/12/2020 00:04

Either Seraphina or Athena. My girls are Aria and Thea. Still love both names even if Aria has become a lot more popular in recent years. She's 11 now so fortunately hasn't met anyone who shares her name. I'm really not a fan of common names.

elp30 · 15/12/2020 00:15

I name my only daughter after my mother and father.

If I had a daughter tomorrow, I'd name her after my grandmothers

Tomasina Belén

Also adore Susannah but NOT Susie

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 15/12/2020 01:15

I'm due mine in 6 weeks. My shortlist is

Elaina
Rosa
Thalia
Romy
Annalise

Probably in that order. Do doesn't seem to be keen on any of them though, but he chose the last ones name and he's getting to use his mums name as her middle name so screw him 😉

orangejuicer · 15/12/2020 01:18

Sophia is my go-to but I would probably want to think of something a bit more unusual or a Welsh name.

@orangejuicer me too.. I do like Bronwen but I don't like the female spelling and prefer Bronwyn. Might even consider Cerys.

LadyLovelyLockz · 15/12/2020 10:32

Maeve
Fern
Penelope (Penny)
Meredith (Merry)

My not brave enough are Allegra and Talullah. Couldn't get either of those past DH when our dd was born!

theruffles · 15/12/2020 12:10

If I had a little girl tomorrow I'd call her Penny (family name).

My not brave enough names are Etta and Primrose - I think the latter is so pretty but I'd never use it.

Jwd8 · 15/12/2020 15:09

Honor or Delilah

SionnachRua · 15/12/2020 18:57
