What would you call her?

Also, is the name your ‘if I was brave enough’ name? If not please tell me them both Grin

I’m hoping to find inspiration because we’ve come up with 3 names and none feel ‘right’.

Thank you Xmas Smile

Josephine.

I don't do "brave" or not as a concept for naming, I just give a name I like. My son is named after a ninja turtle for example. He seems quite pleased with this.

Champy87 · 14/12/2020 14:08

I am pregnant but just found out we're having a boy. Fleur and Clara were my top two girls names although I suspect we would have gone with Clara as its a bit "safer"

I found I was persuaded by name meanings too.I ended up googling "names that mean..." and I came across a lot of names I hadn't considered.

NeonSparkle · 14/12/2020 14:11

Keira, Faye or Maeve

My not brave enough to use names are Silver, Stevie or Seren

toastofthetown · 14/12/2020 14:11

Vita. It’s short and sweet. That’s if it was solely up to me. If my partner had a say as well it would probably be Diana or Alice. I wouldn’t give a name I felt I had to be brave to use, as it’s the child who is the one who has to bear the name.

Thefaceofboe · 14/12/2020 14:11

I would call her Genevieve, Violet or Ruby (if my partner didn’t get a day) Grin

Thefaceofboe · 14/12/2020 14:11

a say

Santaisironingwrappingpaper · 14/12/2020 14:13

Hell's Belles as I am 49!!
Grin

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 14/12/2020 14:17

Ramona. Maybe.

I like Luna but it's overused.

Edith. Nora.

Love Arriety but not brave enough.

grey12 · 14/12/2020 14:24

Helena or Helen (like Helen of Troy)

My DDs have all arabic names Smile but I remember liking that name when I was younger

EugenesAxe · 14/12/2020 14:26

Bryony Sarah
Virginia Elanor
Christina Alice

I really preferred Bryony Jennifer but then she would have been BJ. Fuck I really wanted Virginia Alice too, but then if she married a 'G' she'd be VAG. Not sure if any of these would get past my husband.

andannabegins · 14/12/2020 14:27

Anwen or Arwin

Twobrews · 14/12/2020 14:48

A combo of
Ramona
Frances
Scarlett,
no idea what order as love them all.

Also love Willow and Iris.

FlorenceNightshade · 14/12/2020 14:53

Imogen. Always loved it but only have boys.

PeskyRooks · 14/12/2020 14:59

Autumn or Hazel
I was brave enough to use the unusual names I liked for dds but these two were vetoed by DH.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 14/12/2020 15:01

Esther

iwantsnow · 14/12/2020 15:02

Rema Georgina - family names that I love, I'm too old now, but would love to see those names continued in the family.

icedaisy · 14/12/2020 15:03

I'm having one this week.....

But I have no idea either.

Jemima, Scarlett, holly, Murren, all floating about at present.

OffredOfjune · 14/12/2020 15:03

Sylvia

Hodgewell1 · 14/12/2020 15:03

I liked Xanthe and Romilly - both vetoed by DH

ClaraBean · 14/12/2020 15:05

If it was a joint decision it would be Muriel or Jean.
If it was only down to me it would be Priscilla.

bluechameleon · 14/12/2020 15:05

I have two boys so never got to use my girl names. Clara, Harriet, Genevieve, Matilda, Emmeline... if I had to pick one right now it would be Matilda.

Lottieskeeper · 14/12/2020 15:05

I would call her Charlotte.

Apart from she would have an older sister Charlotte. So maybe Georgina but I love Charlotte Grin

NerdyBird · 14/12/2020 15:05

I loved the name Nina, but my dh said no. My brave name for a girl is Sherlock.

BewareTheBeardedFatMan · 14/12/2020 15:06

Isis or Saoirse

blitzen · 14/12/2020 15:10

Probably Felicity. Brave name would be Liberty.
