My not brave enough name would be Sibyl

Joni is the name I really wish I'd called dd1.

Not really that brave but I've always had a soft spot for the name Kelsey.

The debate around Isis reminded me of something else

A friend of mine was having a boy and thought about calling him Osama! It's a nice name but the family reminded her that maybe it was too soon to give that name to a child

I'm sure she'd give me a kicking in years to come for naming her after a Star Trek character, but I love the name, and the character embodies all of the qualities I'd want in a child.

Unfortunately, my partner absolutely hated the name so my actual daughter is named after a Superman character instead. God, we're geeks.

(And yes, I know Kira was her surname, but Nerys is fucking hideous)
