My top picks would be Nicholas and Gabriel, I really love them both! I also really like Tobias and Jonathan but not keen on the inevitable Toby/John nicknames. Damien and Dominic wouldn't be my choice but nothing wrong with them.

Nicholas, adore this name. It's classic, not widely used but not unusual in that people would know it.
Can go by Nick, or Nicky as a baby/toddler.
I just love it. Would have been DD2's name is DH hadn't been against it.

Gabriel, Nicholas or Tobias would be my top picks. Johnathan and Dominic are fine names too, and unexpected.

Nicholas seems to be the most widely liked name out of them.

Gabriel is quite popular right now on MN, have seen a few threads with this on list. Still love it mind you.

Jonathan we'd maybe shorten to Jon at home which I actually don't mind.
Not mad keen on Toby think it's cute on a baby but can't see it on a teenager so maybe Tobias not a clever shout after all.

Yes I can see why people don't like Damien with the Devil connotations, I just like traditional, not overly popular names and that seemed like one I hadn't heard on any babies recently.

Don't like Damien, awful connotations. Dominic has been forever ruined by Cummings and Rabb. I think Nicholas is due a comeback. I like that and Gabriel and Tobias.

I like Toby but not Tobias.

I like Nicholas, Gabriel and Tobias best (although I don't really dislike any of your choices apart from Damien - it's basically synonymous with Lucifer in popculture to me!).

If you had Nathaniel on the list (instead of Jonathan or Gabriel) then that would be my definite fave, but of your choices I'd pick Nicholas - it's classic but underused now with several nn options (I like Nico or Cole myself).

Just curious...not a loaded question in anyway I'm just intrigued a lot of you love Gabriel but hate Damien (which I get reasons btw)

Either Nicholas or Jonathan, I like both.
