She pronounced it Ev-lynn
I pronounced it Evil lynn 😂

We mostly say Ev-el-yn, and sometimes a short Ev-lyn with our DD. Some family members do say Ev-er-lyn.

Everyone here (Ireland) seems to say EV-lyn. The one I know is Evvy for short.

I would say Eve-lyn for a boy and Ever-lyn for a girl.

I know two.

One is pronounced Eve-lyn, (nn. Evie) and the other Ev-lyn

I think of Eve-lyn as the male pronunciation and Ev-uh-lyn as the female one.

I also can never quite get my head round the addition of an 'r' into names/words as it just doesn't happen with a Scottish accent.

Ev-(uh)-lin for a girl, Eve-lin for a boy.
