I personally don’t know any Lunas that are children but we’ve said our dog’s name in public and a few strangers/kids have said it’s their daughter’s name/their name. The parents usually give me a dirty look for choosing to name my dog after their child

Other than the girl out of Harry Potter, no humans. A dog and a cat, though (both named after the Harry Potter one!)

I really wouldn't. As much as I think it's a lovely name, it really is a bit of a pet one.

No humans, but I know someone who often remarks that she wanted it for her dd but didn’t use it. Everyone thinks it’s a good thing she didn’t as the dd is an absolute loon, and would be sure to be called Loony.
