Just that really, which would you choose? I like nn for both so that’s not really an issue. Just can’t decide which one I prefer! Thank you!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Squeakerfoot · 29/10/2020 12:37

Ooh! Both are fab names, but I think I like Beatrice a tiny bit more. They would be a great sibling set if you are planning more kids in the future!

fandemic · 29/10/2020 12:43

Beatrice

SoupDragon · 29/10/2020 12:45

Beatrice.

I always think of oranges with Clementine :)

MikeUniformMike · 29/10/2020 12:46

Beatrice, without a doubt.

thegreylady · 29/10/2020 12:47

I prefer Clemency to Clementine which is forever associated with the song to me.

MercyBodle · 29/10/2020 12:51

I love Clementine, and don't mind Beatrice.

dressinggownwearer · 29/10/2020 12:51

Clementine for sure, clemmy

Badabingbadabum · 29/10/2020 13:06

I'm biased towards Beatrice Wink!

Itmaybeus · 29/10/2020 13:08

Beatrice.
Judging by recent baby name threads on here it is the least popular of the two too.

woodyLdn · 29/10/2020 13:11

Love Beatrice!

Whatsyourflava · 29/10/2020 13:28

Really love both
But I'd pick Clementine

Peachbubble · 29/10/2020 13:32

Clementine, as it's not as popular as Beatrice.

twilightcafe · 29/10/2020 13:34

Beatrice but either is a fine name.

finallychangedmyusername · 29/10/2020 13:35

I prefer Clementine. Beatrice is beat-rice, or the Royal for me (although I do love Beatrix, if that's an option).

Weirdly, I don't think of fruit when I hear Clementine. Grin

BinkyBoinky · 29/10/2020 13:38

Clementine.

Quercus3 · 29/10/2020 13:46

Beatrice, although Clementine is also lovely! I think Bea has the edge on Clem though 😊

starfishmummy · 29/10/2020 14:22

Neither. Both can be pronounced in more than one way so I wouldnt subject my child to the potential arguments

jambeforeclottedcream · 29/10/2020 14:25

Love both but Beatrice just pips it

DramaAlpaca · 29/10/2020 14:40

Clementine for me.

Firebird83 · 29/10/2020 15:16

Beatrice

micc · 29/10/2020 15:35

My DD is Clementine! And her best friend at school is Beatrice! Both fab names. Do you prefer the nn Clemmie or Bea?

micc · 29/10/2020 15:38

Oops misread first post!
I honestly cant decide as I love the names so much. Beatice I feel is a bit 'safer' if that makes sense. I had one or two raised eyebrows when naming my daughter Haha but it didnt both me at all. Both fab names with a lot of history.

TenShortStories · 29/10/2020 15:40

Beatrice. I dont dislike Clementine, but with the nn Clemmy I always hear Clammy, which puts me off.

XiCi · 29/10/2020 15:43

I think Beatrice is truly awful and dont like Bea as a nn either. I like both Clementine and Clemmie

LittleTiger007 · 29/10/2020 16:02

I love Clementine or Clemency with nick names Clemmie, Clemsie or Clem. Beatrice is lovely too, not so keen on Bea though as a nn.
