Short fat baby name...

Please help (lighthearted) 31 weeks with a boy. We had chosen Solomon but at a recent growth scan we have learned that baby is both short and fat. (AC over 97th and femur length 10th)

Solomon (would be Sol day to day) sounds like he should look like Jason Momoa but I now picture him in my head looking like Matt Lucas. Please help me find a suitable name.

DP is wholly set on Solomon though 😩.

Siblings are Kitty, Noah, Esme, Lulu

Other names I like are Gabriel, Sebastian, Jude

Otto or Bob
I read this as Otto or Blob.
Solomon is great.

HalfBloodPrincess · 23/10/2020 09:47

Max!

Also think Toby flows nicely with his siblings.

Hahaha yes perfect Mike!

MikeUniformMike · 23/10/2020 16:20

I thought Roly was better Grin and it's cute.

oldperson1 · 23/10/2020 16:39

Like Solomon and of course it’s your choice, prefer your other three names though.
Only reason I’m not keen on Solomon is because it will probably get shortened to Solly, however much you try it not to 😊

Iwasonceabrownie · 23/10/2020 18:28

Reuben

BilboBercow · 23/10/2020 18:41

Sam. Sam is a short fat name.

feliciabirthgiver · 23/10/2020 18:44

Ivo?

NameChange30 · 23/10/2020 18:54

Solomon is a great name and I think it would suit a chubby baby but also a boy/man of any shape Grin

FWIW my DS is Saul and he was a very fat baby, he is a well proportioned preschooler now Smile

Body shaming in the womb - wow, just wow - I never would have believed it

You missed the word "lighthearted" in the OP then...? 🙄
LittleTiger007 · 24/10/2020 17:07

Love this post OP! Solomon is a beautiful name

passthemustard · 07/02/2021 14:56

Baby mustard was born just before Xmas a very tiny 8lb 3. He was so small and delicate we named him Gabriel. He's now 6 weeks old and wearing 3-6 month sleepsuits that haven't got much more growing room 😂😂

emmathedilemma · 07/02/2021 17:47

Lovely news, congratulations!

partyatthepalace · 07/02/2021 19:27

🤣 I thought you meant a short fat name

I see what you mean, but it is also quite a full on name compared with your other kids, but if you think he’s going to be petite and cute then how about -

Teddy (Edward, Edwin,Edgar or Theodore)
Theo (Theodore)
Milo
Kit or Christy (Christopher or Kester)
Reuben
Joe (Joseph)
Issac
Sam (Samuel)
Zack (Zackary, Zachariah)
Diggory
Toby
Nico (Nicholas)
Billy (William)
Robbie (Robert)

partyatthepalace · 07/02/2021 19:27

Ah - congrats!

YoniAndGuy · 07/02/2021 22:36

Jude fits much better with your other names. Solomon just doesn’t! (And it’s not as nice as any of them and the nn Sol will just sound like Saul).

All of the others have four letter names.

Serin · 07/02/2021 22:49

Congratulations, Gabriel is a great name!
He has all the world to grow in, my own little Gabriel was 7lb born, he is now 6'3 and eats us out of house and home.

LittleTiger007 · 07/02/2021 23:30

I love this post! Bless you. Stick with Solomon it’s fab. I also like Gabriel and Jude.

LittleTiger007 · 07/02/2021 23:32

FluffyEggsontoast · 07/02/2021 23:36
