Nicholas or Joseph?

To go with brother Alexander and sisters Lydia and Iris. I lean towards Nicholas as it’s a bit more uncommon now, and Nick seems a bit cooler than Joe. But am still interested to gather other opinions. The middle name will be Mark, cheers

Joseph gets my vote. Not mad keen on Nicholas or Nick. Your other names are all lovely choices!

Lolaloveslemonade · 17/10/2020 16:06

Joseph ❤️

Joseph every day of the week

elfran · 17/10/2020 16:18

I prefer Nicholas but would use Nico for a nn. Both are lovely names though!

I've known loads!
Peachbubble · 17/10/2020 16:54

Prefer Joseph

Kanaloa · 17/10/2020 16:58

Both are lovely and go nicely with Alexander, Lydia & Iris. All such nice names. I think I would pick Nicholas just because it’s a bit more unusual.

Mammyloveswine · 17/10/2020 17:02

I like both!

I also like Peter!

mintich · 17/10/2020 17:03

Nicholas by a long way!

Soozikinzii · 17/10/2020 17:12

O have an Alexander and a Joseph I think their Both lovely names and they seem to like them ! They are 28 and 31 by the way . They are good names as children and as adults which I think is important. Hope all goes well whatever you decide!

Lemonsyellow · 17/10/2020 18:18

Nicholas by quite a way. I like Joseph but it’s a different style to your other DC names.

finallychangedmyusername · 17/10/2020 19:31

Tough choice, I love both! I'll vote Nicholas though as it's slightly less popular (I think).

MikeUniformMike · 17/10/2020 21:42

I like both but would choose Nicholas. I know many nice male Nicks.

SpeedofaSloth · 17/10/2020 21:43

Joseph, nn Joe.

sofakingawesome · 17/10/2020 21:49

My 10 month old is Nicholas, took me a while to love it as much as I do, always get comments about how lovely it is and there aren't many around, his nickname has turned into Noodles somehow but I'm not mad keen on Nick yet... luckily my 4 year old corrects people who call him nick with nothing Nick... baby Nicholas' Grin

DramaAlpaca · 17/10/2020 21:54

I love both, but I'd go for Nicholas.

tenlittlecygnets · 17/10/2020 21:56

Another vote for Nicholas! Ours is Nic -I prefer the look without a k - but was Nicky when younger.

KoalaRabbit · 17/10/2020 22:00

Prefer Nicholas. I know 3, all lovely and none of them get names shortened.

Iwant2move · 17/10/2020 22:04

Nicholas.
I have a Nicholas and an Alexander.

CharlieBoo · 17/10/2020 22:30
