No, it's and unusual unisex name (when used for girls- common for boys) but I have a female spelling of it, and even then it's an unusual spelling of that.

It's very Popular in France at the minute though!

Enko · 28/09/2020 09:19

Very unusual i am 50 and I have never met another. I know of 2 others oddly both singers but never met either

eatsleepbreastfeedrepeat · 28/09/2020 13:01

Common for women born in the 80’s and 90’s

bleachblondemom · 28/09/2020 16:13

Mine is quite common in the USA but not in the UK where I am from. People thought it was odd when my parents chose it (actually my dad didn’t even like it at first but my mom took no notice lol). Always get asked if it’s short for something. Like I wouldn’t tell people my actual name when they ask 🤨

foxtiger · 28/09/2020 16:49

It's very common for 54 year olds although roughly split between 2 popular spellings at that time.

WhollyWhole · 28/09/2020 16:52

I've had so much fun with this over the last few days.

My name isn't particularly popular or common but it's VERY VERY 80s. I was born in 1986 Grin

Emmapeeler2 · 28/09/2020 16:54

My name was not common when I was born/a child but is now very very common among girls.

emotionalbutterfly · 28/09/2020 16:54

I can't find another one of me on Facebook so uncommon

labellesusage · 28/09/2020 16:57

Rare. Only one at primary and high school. Now in my 40's I've met 2 women with my name and one of them is famous (sort of)

MsQueenInTheNorth · 28/09/2020 17:00

Fairly uncommon but not unusual. Everyone will have heard of it, but I’ve only met a maximum of half a dozen others. It’s a bit more popular now then it was when I was born, it’s in the top 100 now but it definitely wasn’t then!

CorianderLord · 28/09/2020 17:40

Extremely common

Hailtomyteeth · 28/09/2020 17:45

Common. In both senses of the word.
The name my mother wanted for me eventually went to my daughter.

tywysoges · 28/09/2020 18:17

My spelling is uncommon in the UK, but the most common spelling is at the bottom end of the top 100...

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 28/09/2020 18:22

Fairly common in Scotland (where I was born) but not that common in England (where I grew up). Only 1 other girl with the same name in my school of 1200 kids.

Brighterthansunflowers · 28/09/2020 19:25

Uncommon, both when I was born and now, far outside the top 100

zigaziga · 28/09/2020 20:34

Common and I love it. My parents did really well as my name is a classic and is even more common now than when I was born, so no one can date me by name at all.

I have no issue with popular names but I hope to never use a faddy name that will date (Isla, Roman, Alfie etc).

Jason118 · 28/09/2020 21:14

Errrrrr.......

Circus123 · 28/09/2020 21:22

Not common

Blackcountryexile · 28/09/2020 21:27

Classic name, most common in the 1950's and 60's.I have a variant spelling and I only know one other who is much younger than me.

MoonlightMusings · 29/09/2020 18:33

Classic name which gets shortened and everyone calls me by my shortened name. Both my children have names you can’t shorten lol

Nonamesavail · 29/09/2020 18:35

The nn/shortened version is common. Dont know any others with same full name

WhyAreThereNoNamesLeft · 29/09/2020 18:41

Reasonably common, but particularly my age. There were 3 with my name in my secondary school but we were all the same year (and all same initial).

Later I worked with two, who were both a year younger than me.

Coldnights · 29/09/2020 18:42

Uncommon don’t know anyone with the same name and have never meet anyone with it.

Bh28 · 29/09/2020 19:50

My name is extremely unusual, and the spelling too! People never pronounce it right. A hint is that it’s a poisonous flower. Very cool!

ToastyCrumpet · 29/09/2020 21:05

Dead common, one syllable, boring.
