I am so stuck between these two names for boys. My husband prefers one and I prefer the other. Our surname is Whisker if that helps!
Thank you 😊

Both lovely!
Tricky to decide I'm so sorry!

Firebird83 · 21/09/2020 20:03

I prefer Jack as I’m not keen on Josh.

weasledee · 21/09/2020 20:03

Joshua - we own one 😁

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 21/09/2020 20:04

Joshua (but both are lovely)

daisypond · 21/09/2020 20:04

Jack - by far. But I think John is better.

GoldenPlover · 21/09/2020 20:04

Jack

ifiwasascent · 21/09/2020 20:26

Really really dislike Joshua so it's Jack for me

RayOfSunshine2013 · 21/09/2020 20:27

Jack.. but I may be biased 🤷🏽‍♀️

StayClosePooky · 21/09/2020 20:32

Jack!

Kanaloa · 21/09/2020 21:36

Both are really nice so it’s hard to choose! I think I would choose Joshua just because I know quite a lot of Jacks. Joshua Whisker sounds nice as well.

ablisha · 21/09/2020 22:14

Thank you all! I really thought Joshua would be more popular! But I do love both

@Kanaloa do you think Josh Whisker is a bit of a mouthful though? I'm not sure if people would find it a bit lisp.. Josh Whishker

Joshua.

ImNotWhoYouThinkIam · 21/09/2020 22:16

I prefer Joshua, but I'm biased as I have one. However I don't think it sounds right with your surname so would go for Jack.

ablisha · 21/09/2020 22:17

Joshua is my preference so I have been trying to overcome the surname issue! Is it a big no no?

MummaLaw · 21/09/2020 22:18

I think Jack is nicer and goes better with the surname

TokyoSushi · 21/09/2020 22:23

Jack Wink

justwinginglife1 · 21/09/2020 22:23

Another vote for Jack! My DS is Jack

ablisha · 21/09/2020 22:26

I think it's just the number of Jacks around which sways me towards Joshua. I'm a teacher and we have so many Jacks! Shows it's a lovely name though!

Definitely Jack, flows better

anorangeaday · 21/09/2020 22:28

I love Joshua

Kanaloa · 21/09/2020 22:28

I think Josh Whisker sounds fine! It doesn’t seem too lispy to me. Jack is a nice alternative if you do find it too lispy though!

AnnaSW1 · 21/09/2020 22:30

I think Jack's great. Timeless. Joshua I'm not keen on.

Chocolatecake12 · 21/09/2020 22:33

I’m the same as you, prefer Joshua out of the two but don’t think it sounds right with your surname.

These were my 2 names I was choosing between for my DD! We went for Jack Smile I am so pleased we went for Jack it's such a gorgeous, classic name and suits him perfectly. And although it's a very popular name I don't know any other Jacks!
