Jack or Joshua

I am so stuck between these two names for boys. My husband prefers one and I prefer the other. Our surname is Whisker if that helps!

Both are really nice so it’s hard to choose! I think I would choose Joshua just because I know quite a lot of Jacks. Joshua Whisker sounds nice as well.

I prefer Joshua, but I'm biased as I have one. However I don't think it sounds right with your surname so would go for Jack.

Joshua is my preference so I have been trying to overcome the surname issue! Is it a big no no?

I think it's just the number of Jacks around which sways me towards Joshua. I'm a teacher and we have so many Jacks! Shows it's a lovely name though!

I think Josh Whisker sounds fine! It doesn’t seem too lispy to me. Jack is a nice alternative if you do find it too lispy though!

These were my 2 names I was choosing between for my DD! We went for Jack I am so pleased we went for Jack it's such a gorgeous, classic name and suits him perfectly. And although it's a very popular name I don't know any other Jacks!
