I like them all.
My immediate reaction is to say Maeve as the favourite, but there's something very cool about the rarely used but quite traditional Agnes.

HeronLanyon · 08/09/2020 04:20

Esther, very strongly.

MikeUniformMike · 08/09/2020 05:23

Esther - ok, seems a bit gentle
Agnes - not keen.
Maeve - no.

Pemba · 08/09/2020 06:34

Esther is quite nice. So is Hester.

Not mad on Maeve, IMO it has a bit of a frumpy vibe, prefer May.

Dislike Agnes, the 'Ag' sound is quite harsh.

I'm so sorry, the autocorrect changed it! Maeve!

FluffyEggsontoast · 08/09/2020 06:56

Maeve or Angus - lovely

FluffyEggsontoast · 08/09/2020 06:57

  1. Esther
  2. Agnes
  3. Maeve
Oneandabean · 08/09/2020 07:46

Esther was on our shortlist but took it off as it’s rising in popularity. I really like Maeve too but dp not keen. Can’t stand Agnes.

@Oneandabean actually it isn’t rising! It’s dropped 40 places in 2 years.

@DoTheMaccaroni where I am it’s definitely rising, there’s suddenly loads where I didn’t know of any before. Only started hearing it this year though.
