Middle name for Edith

Hello,

If I have a daughter, I decided to name her Edith after my grandmother who passed away peacefully this year and also of course because I like the name !
As for the middle name, I hesitate between Rose and Elizabeth. Do you prefer Edith Rose or Edith Elizabeth ? I'm also open to suggestions.

When I read the first half of your thread , Elizabeth is the name that came into my head. However once you also suggested Rose , I love that also ! Which rolls better with your surname ?

I think you need a vowel at the start to make the name flow. But Elizabeth is a little dull. How about:

Edith Amber
Edith Ellen
Edith Isobel
Edith Odette
Edith Ursula

Rose is every other girl's middle name and as dull as ditchwater. My own daughter has it as hers and I deeply regret it. Is there nothing else apart from Elizabeth that you like? How about Cara, Jasmine, Hazel or Chloe?

I prefer Elizabeth in name but Edith Elizabeth is too Ith repetitive, so Rose.

I like Odette, but it was my grandma's sister's name, so I think it will be a bit too much.
