Frederick (Freddie) or William?

Definitely William.

I have a William (usually just Will) so obviously think it’s the best name in the world

They’re all lovely options though. William was a family name for me, but I loved how it had so many nickname options that would see him throughout his life without being twee or old mannish.

I like them all. My order of preference would be 1. Freddie 2. George 3. William

Frederick (Freddie) is much nicer than William (Willie)!

I love William 💓 I have one (18). I know a few others too. They tend to be a handful but are generally just the best.
Don’t fit in the box, but love their mums. Not sure if that’s much help!

I have a William. Is mostly a Will. Has never been called Billy or Willie as a nickname, not even in jest. Freddie is cute though, but as he gets older will he be a Fred?

There’s always Bill as a nickname as well, which I think would be pretty cool and unexpected on a 5 year old!

My ds1 is William Frederick 😍
He opted for Will as a nickname when he was about 7 or 8 and that's really stuck. It's a lovely name. Obviously 😊
