Mary or Lauren

Which one do you like the most? I'm expecting number three - we have a Ben and a Hannah. Another boy will be Sam(uel) but we can't agree on a girl's name. Lauren and Mary are our current favourites but also like Catherine/Kate/Katie and Sophie.

We are down to Mary or Sophie now - just because it's different ending sound to the others and Lauren and Ben both end in 'n'.

Thanks for all your thoughts. Middle name will either be Elizabeth or Grace (grandmothers' names). Boy would be Samuel James.

Mary is my middle name, I hate it, sounds very dated.
I prefer lauren but I think sophie goes best with you other DC names

How about laurel for a slight change on Lauren.

I’d worry about cruel nicknames like Hairy Mary as I had a Mary in my class at school she was bullied horribly for her name it was awful 😣Its a nice name but that would massively put me off .. I love both Katie or Sophie especially with your children’s names x congratulations x

I like Laura way more than Lauren. There’s a Laura in DS’s class at school. I like Kate.
