Boy names - which one?

Can't decide between these 3 names for baby boy. Which do you think is best?

1. Nicholas
2. Oscar
3. Charles (Charlie)

Oscar- too popular
Charlie- too popular/ Charles- too upper class dated imo

Nicholas if will become Nick or Nico. Love the short forms but not the longer.

If not then Charlie.

My choice would be Oscar. I like Charlie too although I'm not a fan of Charles - it's too old/posh sounding for me, but at least he would have the nn.
Nicholas isn't my taste but it's not a bad name. It's the less popular I would think so if you want a less common name then that might be your choice. You'll probably have to be prepared for it to get shortened by some so don't do it if you're not keen on the nicknames (literally). I personally think Nicky is quite sweet though.

Scrap Nicholas and add Victor , Mike and Romeo.

Nicholas is my suggestion. I like Charlie but it is popular, and I would use Charles on BC. Not keen on Oscar, but it would be a nice name for a pet.

I have always adored the name Oscar!

Nicholas is lovely, I like all the short forms as well.
Oscar is awful, no idea why it’s so popular.
Charlie is nice but I don’t like Charles, and also very popular here.

Nicholas is great. Too many dogs called Oscar and Charlie is fairly common. Charles is good though.
