I have a friend with the surname Eadie. A little girl at school is Eadie as a first name, short for Eadith (“Eadith” is embroidered on her bag so I know it’s that spelling). Pretty, but definitely unusual. The others I know are all Edith/Edie (pronounced Ee-dee) though.
