Alice or Verity

What are your opinions on these names, I prefer one and DH prefers the other. There are other names such as Harriet and Emma which we like but can’t use due to our surname so really these are our final choices.

Verity sounds too similar to Ferrety

Verity's nice enough, one of the virtue names along with Felicity, Faith, Grace and so on.
Think I prefer Alice.

I love both a lot but the camel puts me off Alice.

Both lovely names. I prefer Verity and Alice as a middle name sounds great. I know a Verity and pretty sure she's never been called Ferrity! Gets shortened to V.

Prefer Alice but only because I recently met a mean Verity

Verity seems very popular on MN, I think it sounds uber posh. Sorry I’m not fond of Alice either. It’s ok but just a bit meh.
